My fiancé and I visited Burger Royal tonight while on an engagement trip from Ontario. We came because I read that they had gluten-free options, and since I have Celiac, I was down to get a good burger. The staff was bilingual and very friendly. I was delighted to see the "mushroom kingdom" burger, we had a good laugh. Unfortunately, they didnt have any more gluten-free hamburger buns in stock. I opted for some sweet potato fries after being told there's no cross-contamination between fryers. My fiancé grabbed a bacon poutine. Again, in a bit of bad luck, they were out of sweet potato fries. They felt bad enough to comp an order of regular french fries for me, which was very sweet! My partner reported the bacon poutine being awesome, citing the delicious cheese curds. We had a great time, very cozy place. If you have Celiac or are interested in this gluten-free options, it might be a good idea to call ahead and ask if they have the buns. 5 stars! Thanks, guys!
