So now it's a year later and we thought we'd get Troy here again to check our A/C unit before we got into 100 degrees. SO glad we did. First, we were so low on freon because of our leak, it would have cost us $400 to fill it. But more importantly, it wouldn't even turn on because the fan relay was fried. Time to bite the bullet. He showed us what was available and explained the differences between them. His company highly recommends a couple of brands and he explained why. We chose a two stage system that maintains the temperature by kicking on a very low electricity sucking device. I'm explaining it badly, I know, but he said it will save us $25 a month. We upgraded from 3 ton 10 seer to 4 ton 16 seer. Where our old unit would stay on noisily for a looong time, this one hums the temperature down to cool in 10 minutes. Most people don't have thousands of dollars hanging around just in case, and neither did we. But he has a finance plan available at less than half the interest of a typical credit card. We are thrilled and know it will last longer than we will. It was ordered right then and there and installation was the next day! His crew came right on time, were polite and neat, and he even stopped by to check up. We also replaced our thermostat with a wireless programmable one so we can coordinate with SRP's Time-of-Use plan. I never trust businesses and check for hours on the BBB site as well as Yelp. Then I check the legitimacy of the reviewers to make sure they are honest and trustworthy and just don't whine about stupid stuff on all negative reviews. This company is a winner!
