Okay this is seriously going to sound SO fake, but it really happened. So on Monday, September 14th, I filled out the online application. After that, I called the office to schedule my interview with AppleOne which we set for Wednesday, September 16th. I go on Wednesday, with all the worries of "How long will it take for me to find a job..."
I met with my person, Sharon, and BARELY spoke to her. But right then and there she said "I think we have something for you." Not thinking I'd be placed anytime soon, but I was still happy about a chance at a job. She talked to her assistant Amy, Amy emailed the job about an interview for that day, and they ask me "Can you make it over there right now?".............I was like UH YEAH!!! So they send me off like I just won the golden ticket, I make my way to the job site, interview with them, and get the job!! All in one day, Wednesday!!
Craziest part was that they wanted me to start the next day, September 17th. They were all saying that it was great timing, and I agree. I just thank God because I've been having the hardest time here in Vegas and this has been the first time where I felt like things are turning around. I've only been in Vegas for a year, I'm from Ohio. Where it's nowhere near this hard to find a job for me. But AppleOne has been a blessing! I am now a receptionist who loves her job and makes good enough money for me.
Everything happens for a reason. AppleOne may or may not work for you, but it's worth a shot.
