I have been a few times and had some delicious food. Yesterday was a let down. We waited more than 30 minutes past our reservation time, 'squished in' at a table until the guests next to us were done and pulled one of their tables over to complete our set-up. The server proclaimed 'sorry to rush you, the kitchen is rushing me, can you order.' We did, on the spot, only to have her return moments later to indicate that four of the five orders at our table were no longer available ("we're out"). The menu is already very short and limited, so in hindsight they probably shouldn't have even sat us since food wasn't really available. Some of us shared 'the last entree' of a particular type to make things work. The food overall was solid, but not what it has been in the past. Orecchiette and linguine were pretty good. The bread was great. Service continued to disappoint, with servers hustling at the end of the night cleaning up all around us while we were enjoying our later-than-planned dinner. She rushed us out at the end though everyone was drinking nice wine, closed the ticket and that was that. The food didn't measure up to what it has in the past and the service was a complete let-down. For this kind of money, patrons expect and deserve more. Something has changed at 'The Shop.'
