i live right next door to Sycamore so I'm a frequent guest. They have live music, food-trucks and an abundance of outdoor seating so it's perfect for summertime and fall. Also, NC Yoga Bar offers yoga classes (for $5) a few times a week so it's a great meeting spot for the Charlotte Yoga community. They also have a running club that hundreds of people turn out for and it's a sight to see. However, I'm not a beer drinker and prefer cider or wine. They USUALLY offer both but there have been a few occasions where they don't and those nights aren't as enjoyable. It can take FOREVER to get a beer from the bar sometimes depending on the crowds but I guess that just encourages patrons to buy pitchers. Bartenders can be a little rude but I have worked in the restaurant/bar scene before and know how people can be when there is alcohol involved and patience has run thin.
