Decent hotel in a great location.
Check in was quick and easy. I had booked a double but was upgraded to a single king with a "view" (which ended up just being a view of another building). We didn't get much for being Spire Elite which is kind of disappointing. The highest levels in other hotel reward programs at least get breakfast included.
The lobby was modern and sleek. The room itself definitely could use an upgrade. A lot of old furniture and a dark, musty feel. The bathroom was nice though, a separate shower and tub is always appreciated.
We didn't take advantage of the pool and gym, although they were available.
The hotel is close to Old Montreal and the Basilica, so it's a great spot if you want to be near the heart of Montreal.
