Originally came here for the Crab Cake Benny, but I miss it by the whiskers and came here a little too late for it. Determined to try their crab cakes either way, I got the crab cakes as an appetizer. The crab cakes were delicious, crispy on the outside and moist as well as flavourful inside. I can honestly have a plateful of them. Also had to get the Hair of the Dog Caesar since it's named after the place and I've heard great things. I haven't heard wrong since the Caesar was delicious. I ordered the mac and cheese as the entree and although it was good, it wasn't amazing. The portions were great. The waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was rustic as well as cozy.
