The waitress-recommended chicken sandwich (grilled chicken, bacon, and cheese with honey mustard on a brioche bun) was just standard bar food - not amazing but decent when you're hungry. The fries were crispy and fresh. $10 for the chicken + $7 for the cheapo wine (or $6ish for beers). The plastic silverware wrapped in a napkin was out of place for a "nicer" airport eatery. Judging by the small crowd squinting at the TV's from outside, this is the only place in CLT Terminal E that had NFL games on Sunday. The sports ticker "sponsored by Sam Adams" ran halftime scores for a games that finished already and boring political news headlines - what else do you expect from Fox? But when you're desperate for some games, you go where you need to go since all the tables provide for prime viewing.
