When you park and visit walk midpoint on the bridge and look down. That is one heck of a ride down to the bottom. It's steep with a gradual descention. It feels a little nerve wrecking although you are safe. If you are scared of heights you might squeeze your butt cheeks. But you're fine. Just don't sit on the railings to take a selfie. Winds can pick up and you can go over and down the dam. Then we have to see you on the news. Don't be an idiot. Stay safe. The engineering of a project this size with the technology and equipment of that time. Leaves me in amazement. I've respect for the ingenuity of these people. I like history and architecture and this place is interesting if you're in Vegas. I didn't take the tour. We just visited to do something different. A bunch of beavers didn't build this dam. Lots of lives were lost. Worth a visit
