Located on the same block as the Maya Hair Salon, Sora's is another great option for a budget haircut in Koreatown.
The wash, cut, and blow-dry took about 30 minutes, and at this price point, it was a great deal. Much appreciation to Rie, a Japanese stylist who is quick, professional, funny, and friendly, too.
Tip: Make reservations! But if you're like me and you have haircuts spontaneously, you may have to wait. But no worries: if you do, go get a freshly-made, crispy, red-bean-filled taiyaki snack at the P.A.T. grocery store. Highly recommended!
