Had drinks here recently right before Christmas and I could barely see my drinking companions due to the glitz and sparkle all around me. Two clocks hung on the wall above us- Hollywood time and Showbar time. Both broken. Both the same time. Wait.....where am I again? Transported back to the West Coast? Ah, it must be Pittsburgh because the 70+ year old fella in the blue suspenders and conductor cap just lit up a cig. Showbar time indeed!
I tried to find out who decided to open a Hollywood themed bar in the middle of nowhere, but no one seemed to know. But I will say, check this place out! Free snacks of pepperoni and cheese chunks and, around the holidays, a free lottery ticket! Just try your yuengling first to make sure it's not skunked.
