This place should be condemned and blown up. Make way for a new Hotel and Resort. Heck, even a new parking lot would be better than this dump.
It was great for kids.... in the 80s. The buffet was top notch.. in the 80s. People swamp to this place as one of the first location... in the 80s. You know where I'm going with this.
It decayed it into a rundown motel status with a Harrah like cheap buffet food. New carpeting should be needed. Rooms are a joke and you can get the same hotel price in the newer hotels like Luxor.
If there's any redeeming value, it's the fact that besides Treasure Island and Sahara, this is place where you dump the kids and give them $20 to spend on ridiculous carnival games. Some of those games reminded me that they are preparing kids to life of gambling. Some of those games have risk involve where they can gamble their prize for a bigger prize if they can repeat the win. Yikes!
