Review of My Auto Service Date: January 28th 2016 There is one auto repair business that really has integrity - I experienced it today! Allow me to share my experience, as you will certainly benefit as I did. This is a review of the way I was treated at My Auto Service, located close to the intersection of Flamingo and Rainbow, Las Vegas, NV. I drive a Mercury Grand Marquis. It's been a good reliable car until yesterday when it would not start. It has an almost new battery and a full tank of fuel. The engine stutter gave me the impression that the problem was probably due to a plugged fuel filter or failed fuel pump. I started calling around to get a rough idea of what it might cost to replace the fuel pump, if it became necessary. I called four independent repair shops and two Ford dealers. A Ford dealer told me the repair would require the removal of the fuel tank and quoted an "estimated" price that really shocked me and the tow to the dealers shop would cost even more, so I immediately called several independent repair shops. After calling four independent auto repair shops and receiving estimates much lower than the Ford dealer, I called an auto shop called My Auto Service. I talked to the assistant manager Roy Bailey. What a difference! I found Roy to be a straight talking professional. He told me that he would tow my car to the shop for a very fair and reasonable charge, perform a diagnostic inspection and provide me with a firm price quote for the repair, not an "estimate". If I decided to accept, he would apply the tow and diagnostic charges as credits against the repair charges. This seemed very straight forward and reasonable, so I decided to accept his offer. Within the hour the car was towed to the shop and I received a firm price for the repair, as promised. The repair price for replacement of the fuel pump was a little higher than two other independent shop estimates, but Roy was so straightforward and direct I decided to accept and the repair was completed! When I picked up the car, three hours later, I was presented with an invoice showing the agreed price. After reviewing the invoice, I found I had received much more than I expected! I had received the following new OEM parts; A Complete Fuel Pump Assembly, Fuel Pump, Related Electronics, Fuel Level Sender, Fuel Filter and An Oil Change and Filter! Wow! One more thing to mention. The gas tank now has more fuel in it. (to replace a fuel pump, the fuel and fuel tank first must be removed, so at some point in the final installation the tank was refilled. They put in a little extra). I noticed! Honesty and integrity are things that we all want and seek, but frankly don't see often in the auto service business. At least this has been my experience. I found it today at My Auto Service!! I cannot recommend this company strongly enough! They will have my business forever! They are a quality operation. I've never been to a shop that was so clean and organized. A clean and organized shop says a lot about the quality of their work and what they value. By-the-way, I decided to write this review because of the way I was treated and to possibly help others seeking a shop they can trust that I will never meet or know.
