My mom has been at the facility for almost 2 yrs, When she first came we thought this was the best place ever. The staff was awesome and so was the administration. They made an effort to visit with residents and family and really made you feel like this was home. Now your lucky if you see anyone. The meals were all home made and very good. Most of the time now the residents are either laying around in the common area or in there room. I have had several issues with management in regards to my mom's care. Annette, the administrator is rude and not very professional, her people skills are definitely lacking. I have even talked to the owners several times and I truly thought they cared. But it has been over 5 weeks since I had a discussion with management regarding a very serious issue with medications. I still have not gotten an answer from them. When our elderly need to go to a home for care we try and find the best place for them, I thought we had but we were definitely wrong about the Hacienda Del Rey.. Its very hard to move our loved ones once they are settled. I really hated to write this kind of review, but I love my mom and I'm so sad to see her there.
