She did not try to "up-sell" me to do tests that were not necessary (and after looking at my dog's records, chose not to do more bloodwork because everything that she needed was there from the previous practice that I had gone to). Dr. Bartz referred me to a surgeon when she realized that my dog's condition would require an orthopedic who specialized in the kinds of surgical options that my dog needed.
Dr. Bartz's diagnosis was later confirmed by x-rays that were done by the veterinary surgeon, and I feel so fortunate that I went to Dr. Bartz's practice - their hearts are in their work. Betty, who works at the practice, even came in the exam room to pet my dog and calm her when we were waiting, and like the rest of the practices' staff, truly loves animals.
