1 star for the server in the bar and the manager. Went in early during happy hour. Was seated immediately, greeted by male server and drink order taken. Server said he'd bring a happy hour menu. Another food runner/server brought the cocktail to me and I waited 15 minutes...for a menu.
5 stars for the hostess (all of them, actually--every time). I asked to be reseated and the hostess was extremely apologetic and quickly took care of the issue. She had the manager take me to a new table. When I explained what happened to him, he said nothing, but "Would you like to order off the bar's happy hour menu in the main restaurant?" While I appreciated that offer, an apology would have been the appropriate action, talking to the offended server would also have been an appropriate action (I doubt this happened). I've eaten there dozens of times and this manager is severely lacking in customer service skills.
5 stars for Jennifer the new server. She was friendly, knowledgeable and turned my dining experience around. Thank you Jennifer and the hostesses. Brio almost lost a neighborhood customer.
