I recently started working down the street from this place. Due to my work schedule, it's difficult for me to drive to my usual place in Mississauga to get my nails done.
I needed a simple service-- to get my shellac colour changed (no manicure). I called that morning, and specifically asked the man who answered the phone how long it would take-- he said 15-20 mins. That seemed more than enough time during my hour lunch. I figured it might take a few minutes for the technician to get settled in and I should be out in 30 mins tops.
When I got there, I was shown to a chair and made to wait 10 minutes until the technician came. After she finally showed up, she wrapped my fingers in tin foil and acetone, to peel off the current shellac. I've been getting shellac manicures for a year, and I know 100% that it takes 5 minutes at the absolute maximum to get it all off. This technician told me she was going to take "a quick lunch break" DURING MY SERVICE!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. But sure enough, over 10 minutes passed until she came back and then began. My appointment was at 1:30 and she didn't start on my nails until 1:50.
Now it's been two days and the shellac has already begun to lift at the ends. Avoid this place-- they are extremely unprofessional, even for a run of the mill nail place
