First time eating at Umami, I'm definitely not a ramen expert in any way. We had the classic pork and chive dumplings as well as the pork buns for appetizers, and they were both amazing! I had the tonkotsu and it was pretty good, but I wasn't a big fan of whatever slabs of meat they put in there. Not flavorful in a good way. The rest of the soup was good. Honestly I would go back just for the appetizers! And we might try brunch next time. Problems: It took a LONG time to get any food at all. The patio was busy, the inside of the restaurant was pretty dead. But overall it shouldn't have been busy to the point that the kitchen couldn't keep up. We had been to the gym already and were starving, so that's why we ordered two appetizers. But they didn't come for at LEAST 30-40 minutes. And then our appetizers and meal came out at the same time, which kind of sucked.
