Coupon Fail!
Went in today with a valid Cold Stone free "Like It" card, and the shift manager denied it because, "We aren't participating in this program." Well, first, he didn't have the balls to come talk to me directly and sent the teen-girl to deliver the message. Wimp. Years ago when I worked front line at a franchise burger joint, we were instructed to take any coupon, regardless. Even a competitor's coupon! So, I understand this particular franchisee doesn't want to take a valid Coupon (PLU#900), so fine. I will therefore assume they don't honor any other Cold Stone coupons either. There is a very nice and well managed frozen yogurt place within walking or biking distance, called Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt. The staff are kind and they have a variety of flavors.
Here, front line staff were polite, and did well. Manager, fail.
