First time for my hubby and I. Beautiful restaurant and decor. We went on a Tuesday and it was quiet as I expected. The food was good. But...I wasn't wowed. With these prices, I expect to be wowed. Customer service will keep me coming back to a restaurant time and time again. There was nothing about the customer service that said 'we want you to choose us over any other steakhouse in town'. Our server appeared uninterested in us, simply going through the motions. It wasn't bad service...just not what I would expect if I'm going to spend the money to dine there.
We had lamb chops, prime rib, crab cakes, sweet chile calamari, the mushroom ravioli, truffle mashed potatoes and chocolate lava cake/carrot cake for dessert. Everything was delicious, just not a wow. I eat calamari as an appetizer everywhere I go, there's is definitely in the top 5.
There are just too many steakhouses in Charlotte for me to return unfortunately. At least put a smile on your face when you come to our table.
