I went for my car inspection - I called that morning and they had an appointment at a convenient time for me that day. I took my car in and they greeted me and were very friendly. They took my car back and showed me to their waiting area.
The waiting area is a plain, no frills room with chairs and I think they have coffee too and a restroom. It has a large window looking into the bay so you can watch them work on your car if you like. I choose to talk to the travel agents.
I asked a young woman to help me with a hotel in DC. We looked but I needed a better idea of the neighborhoods and the train stops to choose a good location. She gave me their hotel book to take with me and told me I could call her for help when I was ready - very friendly.
I asked the world travel agent about passports. She gave me the basics I was looking for and about visa's needed to my intended travel destination.
Just as I went to sit in the waiting room, my car was done! It passed, no work needed.
