Had a shellac manicure and a regular polish pedicure. The first issue I had was that I wanted both polishes to match (or be close). The tech insisted that a mani HAD to be lighter than the pedi and wouldn't budge so when the polish was done of course it was much lighter than I wanted, probably at least four levels lighter. Next a base coat wasn't used on the mani. I'd never seen that before but one hand was already cured before I realized it. Next I don't think they really did the under the tips and I have shellac on my cuticles. When I got home I realized one of my nails was really crooked. Within two days I had two nails break which I've never had happen with shellac. They were really sawing on my nails with the file so I suspect it created a little split. Not much of a massage with the the pedi and none with the mani. At any rate, it is unlikely that I'd be back.
