I have required glasses for ten years now. I have fine to a lot of optometrists. I know what i should expect when i go. Dr smay is the worst! He is in the office with u for maybe five minutes. If you have concerns, he dismisses them implying you are incompetent. It took over six months to get the correct prescription. I don't have a special prescription. My glasses just get thicker over time. From the very beginning i vocalized my concerns. During the initial exam when i said the strength wasn't enough he said it was fine, and i should just try it. Over the next five or six exams he still didn't listen. My health insurance just paid them $500+ for those glasses, i couldn't just return then and go somewhere else. Goodness knows i wish i could have. The staff is nice enough, selection is okay. But that "Doctor" is a dumb ass. In all meanings of the word. I pray you heed my warning.
