Have you ever been bashed for not being nerdy enough? I've had to deal with the geek elite a few times (I.e. Trying to learn Dungeons and Dragons and getting made fun of for not being able to keep up), which can make entering places like comic shops very annoying.
Ash Ave Comics is welcoming and has a great selection. I've never felt like the staff or the clientele has peered down their nose at me for being indifferent to the DC/Marvel feud. Some of us just want recommendations based on Bitch Planet, and Ash Ave is perfect for that.
This is a great store to get lost in and spend hours aimlessly thumbing through comics.
