(This review is for the restaurant, obviously.) Been here a couple of times and it has easily become a favorite. Service is a little bit on the slower side, but you can't beat the food and the prices! Got the chicken fried chicken w/ garlic green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy which had everyone at my table staring. I gave my boyfriend a small piece of it out of obligation, but had no intention to share any more. VERY GOOD, I still think about it weeks later.
Haven't had the prime rib but the order definitely takes up the entire plate. Boyfriend got the steak special which was also a nice size. Your order comes w/ soup or salad which is always a plus.
They are renovating Ellis Island and adding a true brewery, so I would try to go there now before things get too congested. GOOOOOOOOOOOO.
P.S. I hear the karaoke nights are poppin'.
P.P.S. Beers are good and cheap! Get the IPA!
