A very nice staff but they are inexperienced and inefficient. Several items were damaged in the move, a bookcase was completely broken. They placed my clearly labeled boxes wherever they felt like dropping them. I am finding things everywhere. I had to redirect the movers numerous times to keep them from placing boxes against walls where furniture was to be placed. The whole day was a mess and unpacking has been a nightmare.
I have used Mad City Movers in the past and they were great--fast, efficient and careful. Three years ago, I moved from a two- story thee bedroom house to a three bedroom apartment. Mad City got the move done in four hours with two men. This move was from a three to two bedroom apartment and it took U Move Me 8 hours with five men and two trucks--I have less furniture now then I did three years ago. Sadly, Mad City did not have an available appointment on the date I needed to move so I went with U Move Me based on reviews, never again!
Very disappointing.
