Having visited Starving Artist on St. Clair avenue, I entered a bit worried. My expectations weren't overly high. My fears were allayed. Yes there was a longish wait, but I expected that for a weekend. Once we got a table, service was excellent. I had the hitch hiker with gluten free waffles and I was very pleased with the entire plate. My guest had the western and was equally impressed. I had a delicious blueberry smoothie that I would also recommend. I am hoping that these high standard do not ever drop as I definitely plan to return. I would highly recommend that anyone requiring gluten free options try Starving Artist.
