Without a doubt the best Japanese joint in all of Montreal. I visited Kazu for lunch with great expectations (because of its Yelp rating), and it certainly did not disappoint.
I had the ramen and a ramune (Japanese marble soda). Deeeeeelicious!
The staff were superb. You can tell they are busy, but somehow they still find the time to greet you and treat you right. Occasionally, they would throw out a joke or two, which helps to keep the atmosphere relaxed despite the continuous influx of customers.
Be prepared for a wait if you're planning a visit. I've never seen this place without a line, even if you go at 3pm. It's definitely worth the wait.
