I went to Abbey Dental for an exam, and planned on eventually getting my teeth cleaned and whitened as well. Even though the dentist told me my mouth was clean, and I was doing a good job, he felt that it was in my best interest to replace a crown, and get two new crowns on other teeth. He believes that I have been grinding my teeth when I sleep. And one of my molars has a small chip in it. I have no idea how or when that happened. He also suggested some fillings. I can't remember how many because I was in shock. His reasoning was that I could have problems in the future and if I waited until I had pain, I could end up with a root canal. I didn't even ask what all that would cost because I knew there was no way I was going to start getting crowns for no reason. Then a woman came in to talk to me afterwards and still tried to sell me on getting all this work done. When I still refused, she said they could make out a payment plan for me. I still insisted I wasn't going to have this done. So she finally gave up on that idea and asked me when I would like to schedule my cleaning. I honestly would not trust them even with a cleaning after this. I will not be going back.
