UPDATE - change in desk staff. Front desk staff is awesome now. Different story when i wrote an earlier review 1.5 years ago.
I have to disagree with earlier review.
Firstly, lets assume that if you're reading this, you probably bought a discounted cosmetic treatment off Groupon or similar. This is how New You and other med spas do a lot of their business, and also how many people do a lot of their 'enhancements.' If you've bought a Groupon before, you're probably used to being up-sold and pressured to buy extra units. Most of these "spas" (lol) sell a discounted treatment on the assumption that most purchasers will have to top up to suit their needs. So, you go in prepared for an up-sell.
This is the ONE "spa" where i haven't dealt with an up-sell. I was very pleased with that experience. I felt like I was treated with total professionalism and dignity.
There isn't pressure to buy and they let you know about discounts by phone texts (and the deals are GOOD).
I think the moral of the story here is that if you buy Groupon, expect a classic Groupon experience. Definition: your mileage may vary.
