I couldn't pass up this $7.77 buffet special for locals inside the Orleans Casino. It is 1/2 of the regular price of their evening buffet and they had prime rib too. I haven't been to this buffet for a long long time, so this was the perfect opportunity to rediscover this buffet. I was impressed by the selection of hot food items. The prime rib, though, was on the dry side (overcooked). My wife really enjoyed the jambalaya and pulled bbq pork with fried onions pizza. I know it sounds pretty weird to me but she said it tasted pretty good. I, on the other hand enjoyed the crayfish, Their sushi was freshly made which was nice, compared to other local buffets around town which served day old and dried out sushi. I would definitely go back for this price. Okay, maybe not for a couple of week, since I ate way too much in one sitting.
