My son and I visited about 15 assisted care facilities from Avondale to Scottsdale before my back surgery because I wanted to see for myself which one was the best - knowing that I would spend from 10-14 days in an assisted care facility. Life Care Center of Scottsdale was the absolute BEST. It was one of two that had private rooms with en suite bathrooms. It was one of 8 that didn't smell bad. It was one of a few that was super clean and had many amenities. I was transferred to this facility after spending 5 days in the hospital for my back surgery. I spent 11 days here in September, 2018. This place has the best facilities, the best physical therapists and the cleanest rooms. The food was not five star but much better than the hospital food. The meals were balanced and good and on the plus side I ended up losing 20 pounds during both my hospital and assisted care facility stays (I hardly ate at the hospital because the food was really bad). (I needed to lose the weight because I'm 60 lbs. overweight as it is.) I highly recommend this facility. 95% of the staff are super nice and helpful. If you have any arguments against this place, I dare you to try any other facility around the area and you will definitely change your mind!
