Dépanneur le Pick-Up is one of my favorite places in Montreal of all times for so many reasons, part of those reasons being that there's no other place like it in the city. It's located on a quiet residential street and attracts literally every single type of person from hipster to gangster and everything in between.
It's a cross between a good old dep and a diner, with a zine rack and an array of weird knick-knacks. The coffee is really good and so is the food. Also, le Pick-Up takes the cake for best pulled-pork sandwich I've ever tasted. Worldwide. Yep.
**It's always packed so be prepared to wait for your food. Lots of outdoor seating in the summer time so you can enjoy a coffee while you wait.
