My friend and I (who both had never done a room escape adventure before) decided to try this place out to see what all the fuss was about being locked in a room. The rooms are all themed with varying levels of difficulty (note that for some rooms you need more than 2 people to play). We ended up in the Vampire/Werewolf themed room which reminded me of some goth 1980s boudoir-y kinda room. The room does look a little tired and there could be more props inside to support the story line better.
Basically the room holds several clues in order for you to get out of the room in an hour. From getting out of a locked cage and handcuffs to finding keys or the combination numbers to open up boxes for the next clue, this will definitely get your mind racing to try and figure out the clues. Some are easy while others are head scratches, but luckily you can call a friend for some help! They give you a walkie talkie and you are allowed 2 hints at any point in the game.
This is definitely where logic and listening come into play to figure out the clues and to be honest I think we did quite well solving the puzzles!
I'm sure there are better room escape places out there, but with the Groupon deal this was only $10 so it was a good opportunity to try it out
While we can't all be that lady from Murder She Wrote, you can certainly try!
