This Rudy's was such a letdown. I first went to Rudy's a year ago while on vacation in Texas. It was the best BBQ that I ever went to. With memories of Rudy's BBQ in my mind, I wanted to visit Rudy's before going home to California. I should've listened to my wife and went to the Cracker Barrel. They were set up like all the other Rudy's BBQ's where you get in line to order your food. Condiments, drinks, and utensils were self serve. Their Fatty Brisket was on the drier side. The flavor of the brisket was not as good as the stuff you get in Texas. We came here specifically for the moist flavorful brisket. They did not deliver it to us on the day of our visit. Both my wife and my daughter didn't like it. Ordinarily I would give a restaurant that lets me down like this 2 stars. But, their dry Fatty Brisket was still better than the places that I have tried in California. For being better than the stuff in California, I will give them an extra star.
