I can't speak highly enough about this place, what an amazing experience. We went at 9 pm on a Friday and the music was amazing; a fantastic mix of new hits and old school funk. The retro feel of the place was really charming. I'm an awful skater but the staff is so quick on the rink I knew if at any point I went down they'd quickly be there to pick me up and it's pretty easy to maneuver around the other skaters. The funnest part was watching the extremely talented skaters, and there's a lot of them. It's like there's this underground community of roller skaters and watching them come together at Scooters and dominate the rink was a really cool experience. Definitely will be coming back, I want to get better so I can dance and glide around the rink like the best of them. We stayed for 2 hours but probably could have stayed longer.
I can see how maybe during weekends and earlier hours there might be a lot of children, but if you're an adult looking for a fun, active thing to do definitely do a night skate at Scooters!!!
