Okay, truth be told, I've never been a baseball fan, but the Captains make baseball more fun and engaging than I've ever seen! The stadium, located off of Rt. 91 in Lakewood, is large, well kept and has a TON of great concessions vendors, a great gift shop, and during the game, there are a variety of events, from races (of a variety of...creatures:) and raffles and games. The baseball is usually really great and you get see the farm teams of a whole variety of cities and perhaps get a glimpse of stars to come! Another great element of Captains games is THEME NIGHTS! Patty and I went to "Star Wars" night, and also got free pairs of Captains Socks! Oh, and did I mention, just about every Friday and Saturday, FIREWORKS! Parking is usually about 5 dollars, and a bridge ferries folks across 91 to the stadium, and they have closer parking for season ticket holders and special needs folks who need to park closer. So, I have to say, when it comes to baseball, my alliegence is to these Captains, now and forever:)
