I came to visit Milk Bar after watching Chef's Table a new Netflix original series. I literally watched it one morning and drove out in the same afternoon to catch their re-opening hours starting at 5pm. They close at 4pm daily and reopen at 5pm.
It is located attached to Shangri La Hotel which was where I ended up having to valet my car instead of finding street parking which I really dislike in the streets of Toronto.
Anyways, basically its on the second floor of Momofuku Noodles (same owners too I believe) and had it's own little self contained cool room of all their goodies and treats for a la carte shopping styles.8
After seeing the Netflix episode on founder owner and pastry chef Christina Tosi, I remembered the compost cookie was a standard to get and decided to grab a few of the blueberries and cream cookie as well.
I lined up in a big line of 9 other
s in front of me waiting to pay and purchase the soft serve signature cereal ice cream with crunchy corn flake bits.
Let me tell you, that ice cream is definitely a home runner with its famous cereal flavor. A beautiful and homely classic flavor right from your first taste!! Complete genius.
