Awwful apartment - Beware!!!
Stayed at these apartments for 2 years. Leasing agent was very nice. Overall, facility was noisy and needed updating.
Left the apartment in great condition and never heard anything from them until we received a notice from a collections agent!!!!
I immediately called the Hamptons and no explanation for why they did not contact us. They said they had mailed a letter - which we did not receive. Was astounded that they would try to contact us one time before handing over the bill to a collections agent!!!
The bill that we received had numerous mistakes and was faced with a rude manager - who informed me that there was nothing she could do (wanted to do). For example said that we had received 3 mailbox keys - we were only given 2 (only 2 of us living there), but they said we were given 3: charged $25 for this (for a key!!! which we did not ever receive). They also disputed several other minor things which were not true but could not be contested since they turned over the bill which we never got to a collections agent (in just over a month after checking out)!!. Anyhow, this definitely left a very bad impression on us of the Hamptons customer service and mangement. I would caution anyone considering this apartment complex to be very careful in your dealings with them, and especially on your departure.
