I am very disappointed with the service I received at the McKnight Staples stores. I bought a drone there the drone I wanted made by the same manufacture showed available on the website, but because of the price match I went into the the store to order the product. At the time, the associate I worked with attempted to order the product and ask for the price match a difference of $100.00. He worked to find an alternate item I also asked if they thought the 1 I really wanted would become available I was told no that was not so... the item that I did buy was shipped to my home however never arrived to my home UPS stated they dropped the package off at the front door I live in an apartment building that the front door of the building opens into the side walk of 1 of the busiest streets on the north end of Pittsburgh. This product is a very expensive product so when I got home I immediately checked it's not here. Reach out to UPS they advise i have to reach out to Staples, the Staples chat representative was literally clueless. This comment was not made to be mean or discourteous she really had NO idea what she was doing she eventually realizes it and advise I should call customer service and ask for a supervisor. Immediately I follow her direct (after I specifically asked if they were still open.) The line is answered by Monte after I explain that the package is actually lost after he tried to convince me I misunderstood the email sent to stating that it had been left not a door tag but the package he explains to me that there are no supervisors available.. However after a few questions he asked me for the tracking # tracking number provided Monte explains that he will immediately reship the product (Yeah Right??) I think to myself he fumbles and mumbles around and explains he's having computer problems and will submit the reship on tomorrow. The level of doubt that Monte was going to do as he stated I asked for a reference to the call that I could hold for my records he states to me that the calls are recorded and the mumbling and fumbling mentioned earlier was his supervisor standing right behind him... Yes scroll up this was after he explained to me there were no supervisors available, well let me be accurate out of fairness he said to me "There are no supervisors available they had all left for the night" This has been a crazy adventure that I feel is only going to get worse by the second.. I will update my post with the resolution if there is 1.. Yelp is a means to vent I understand they offer no assistance but to get the word out about Staples and it's lackadaisical approach to an item that has the cost of more than $1,000.00 that i have already spent for an item that was not quite what I wanted but was told would not become available for the store again (This purchase was Sunday the truly desire item available Wed. lol)) Staples I think you should just stick to pends paper and poster boards, lol that wasn't fair to read my list of items that I'm going to purchase next there to stand in front of the store appealing to customers not to shop there if this isn't corrected and corrected immediately. More than a grand and internet shopping was already out of my wheelhouse, but to have those responsible for the item getting to me after I have spent that kind of money to act as if it's pennies that's lazy and effortless of everyone that I have spoken to in this process and I will make sure that anyone who will hear my complaint does.
