Manager is straight up Rude. I am an Independent youth living on my own, showed a paper from the Independent living program that I'm with, which states that I am able to get any medical, and dental treatment on my own without accompaniment by an adult. They still managed to tell me that they didn't feel"comfortable" with providing me service, and that I would need a legal court document stating that I'm really on my own(as if I'm lying about or something, like seriously?) My doctor's office knows my situation and are perfectly fine with me coming alone. So the same should be for my dentist. I signed myself out of school early just to try to make it to my dentist appointment on time, and once I make it, they GIVE me a hard time. Emancipation document my ass. You're breaking the law by failing to provide service to a youth who DOES have proof that she's living on her own, just because you're not "comfortable."
