I have been to Papa Sammy's several times but didn't feel compelled to write a review until I had their Philly chicken sandwich last night. Boy was the sandwich good. Instead of the mundane sub, they use a good Ciabatta like bread which really made it stand out in my opinion. I also loved the melted provolone cheese.
Their pizzas didn't blow me away but I didn't grow up eating pizza and don't share the sentiment that pizza is a major food group so what do I know.
In short, Papa Sammy's is a mom and pop place with good quality food and good hard-working people that deserves the supports of locals.
