My friend and I went for ladies night at Thursdays club where drinks at 2$ till 2 am.. we kept ordering from the same bartender and tipping her 20% everytime.. at 1:50 am we ask her if the specials are still on she confirms that they are until 2:00 so we order 9 drinks which should be 18$.. she starts making all the 9 drinks then serves them to us and then she punches in our order which happened to be punched in at exactly 2:00 am and so she comes back with a bill of 53$.. I explained to her that she confirmed to us the special is still on and her defense was it's not her fault if it took her that long to make the drinks as long as she punched it in at or after 2:00 am then the special is over.. she then says to me that I've probably never been a barmaid in my life (which I have and always punched in orders before making them).. then she says "plz uve been paying 2$ drinks all night so stop being cheap".. !!! So I said wow.. excuse me but that's a rude way to talk to customers especially when girls come here specifically on ladies night to get cheap drinks.. and that way of talking won't get u a 20% tip like I've been giving u all night.. she then threatens to bring me the bouncer.. so I had no choice but to pay the bill which cost me all my cab money and I had to wait downtown for an hr to have a friend pick me up.. this was a perfect way to ruin someone's night.. I was shocked with this kinda service.. God knows how many ppl she screwed over the way she did with me and I wouldn't be surprised if she's been rude to other customers too.. I contacted thursdays on their Facebook page they read my message but never replied.. it disappoints me to see this kind of service especially when I've been working in the customer service field since I was 14! Horrible.. just horrible..
