Recently I had to do a 48 hour fast for tests to be run but had a craving for cupcakes, didn't have time to go to Campbell's in Cleveland so I figured I stop by Main street in picturesque Hudson, Ohio. With all the hype I knew they'd be great. I decided to buy wedding cake and red velvet, since my husband loves red velvet.
While I was starving I encouraged him to try the $2.50 cake so I could picture myself enjoying it the following evening two bites later and washing it down with a bottle of water he offered no feedback.
The next day when I was ready to try it I found out why he was speechless, they were as dry as a Sahara desert and extremely sweet with no flavor. The icing on the red velvet was the same as the wedding cake...I did not taste any cream cheese, which seals the deal for a red velvet cake...disappointing and definitely not worth the money!!!
