I booked an economy car online, but as it is often, sometimes they don't have it when you get there, BUT they gave me an upgrade because of that (for economy price). I originally booked a car for a week while I had to go and look for a new vehicle. It turned out to be a 3-week search and I had to keep extending. By the time the third week came around, prices online showed that it was twice what I paid 2 weeks earlier, but Enterprise locked the same rate so I didn't have to pay twice the amount. The process of renting a car went smoothly despite the fact that I only had a debit card. I just had to show 2 utility bills and that was it. I didn't bother with getting extra insurance since my insurance company covered me. Insurance is where they can get you, so I recommend temporarily raising your personal auto policy to full-coverage while you're renting a vehicle so that your rental is covered (but I would ask the agent if they cover rentals to begin with). Enterprise has consistently been the most affordable rental company and they have great service - at least this branch does!
