First time visiting in search of a new nail salon. This place is fairly small and has defiantly seen better days .
The lady attending to me didn't seem very interested in keeping me as a regular as I was getting my nails filled.
Asked her how long she had been doing nails and she only responded with a vague "very long time." I was simply curious as I saw her workmanship with both application of the acrylic powder itself and the polish later on...
Somewhat unnerving to see a surplus of nail buffer blocks in the back, but she's using one that is dropping pieces as she's going along.
I always enjoy people talking in different languages and laughing. Makes me feel welcome and valued. (Sarcasm)
With so many nail salons in all of Toronto, I believe places like these need to step it up a bit.
I gave 2 stars for the fact that she did address my concerns in fixing mistakes that would've never been fixed had I not mentioned. My nails did end up looking good in the end. Not awesome. Not fabulous. Just good.
They could really take the time with so many girls there on their phones to make an effort instead to take a customers jacket or purse and help them as they are unable to do these simple things with oil or wet polish on their hands.
Queen Nails? Hardly even a court jester!
