I was seeking fresh pork chops, and WOW talk about discovering a fancy meat market! I was actually heading towards the stupid cheese shop across the street, but they suck as they were closed. And not being from here, I wanted to shop for more than just pork but I also needed cheese. I found the best of both worlds here, so I'm glad to have given this place a try!
Sanagan's has got a wide wide assortment of meats. Everything from jumbo polish kielbassa, to meat pies, chorizo, andouille sausage, cacciatore, zungenwurst, smoked hams, turkey breast, fat ox tails, a wide variety of cheeses, grilling charcoal, seasonings and marinades, duck eggs, and liver pate. So many things to name. The types of cheeses they carry are also quite impressive. Types I've never heard before. One guy even let us sample a few slices even though the place was pretty busy. And although the cheeses were quite expensive, the staff gladly vacuum sealed our wedges so we can fly them home. Excellent service!
I found some marinaded pork chops, grabbed some duck eggs, took home some cheese; Mission accomplished!
In short, this shop has got some good quality meat cuts available for you. Different cuts and sausage varieties that you may have not have heard of. The staff to me was helpful, and the place was fairly clean. This meat is gonna cost ya, but it's so worth it!
