I get the distinct feeling that the management and employees of JP Pancake just enjoy saying "No." I had a Groupon a while back and it had expired. Everyone knows you're supposed to still get the face value of the voucher taken off your bill. Well... at JP Pancake they just give you half the face value off. Groupon ended up giving me a full refund so I actually came out ahead. They could not be less accommodating. You have to pay extra for fruit as a side, even when they're out of everything else you'd potentially want. Two stars for the food, I guess...They do have good baked pancakes, which you won't find everywhere, but I'm more of an egg person anyway. Oh and they just started their "summer hours" and they don't serve lunch in the summer, despite the fact that there's an entire page of lunch items still on the menu. Perhaps they should get a summer menu, but that would just rob them of many opportunities to say No to people. The atmosphere is pretty bad too. If you can't get a table, you have to wait outside in the heat, because the dining tables take up the whole inside. My turn to say No.
