Lupie's is a unique dining experience may not be for everybody. I always get the Texas chili which is very meaty almost a little bit dry and I get it loaded with beans, onions and chili. Warning to those in North Carolina ,the Texas chili is spicy. The chili comes with cornbread which is good and the iced tea is good. Good eats for not much money. The menu is fairly limited. It's good to see that they have a busy lunch crowd. They are closed on Sunday evenings; I'm not sure if they're open at all on Sunday. The original Lupie's is on seventh Street in Charlotte.
