Love this locally-owned theater! It's so nice since the renovation a few years ago. The lobby is vintage and cozy, with a bar that serves beer, wine and delicious cocktails! It's a warm and welcoming place to sit and hang out before your show. As far as snacks are concerned, they have your standard movie fare (e.g., popcorn, candy, and hot dogs) along with less common options (e.g., hummus, potstickers). I actually tried their chicken tenders once when I came to a movie and hadn't eaten dinner yet, and they were surprisingly tasty (they had this cool little air fryer that allows them to cook food on the spot, rather than serving gross chicken that's been sitting out forever).
It's a small theater with only a few screens. As such, it won't play all of the most popular movies, although if it's a huge blockbuster, they'll typically have it. They also play awesome indie films and host special series around certain times of year (e.g., they have a "Midnight at the Manor" horror film series around Halloween). Because it's an old and historic theater, it doesn't have a stadium seating set-up, but I don't find that it detracts from the experience at all. The seats are comfy and the audiences at this theater are always really respectful. Oh, and how can I forget to mention the staff?! Very pleasant human beings who have discussed movies with me on more than one occasion (when it's not busy). It's awesome to encounter employees who are not only friendly and competent, but have a passion for the business too!
